New Drivers

Congratulations to Mimi and Nhu who are now driving.  If anyone has some driving tips to pass the road test feel free to email them to bmiller@bangorschools.net  Yong has to go for his road test later this month!  he wants to know what kinds of directions the inspector might give him.

Artist in Residence

Recently Mimi has been busy folding lots of colored paper to make baskets, lanterns and beautiful spring flowers. She told us all how to do it  but it will take a lot of practice on my part!

         One day , stood in the front of the window and looked at the outside the sky was very cloudy and darkness.Afterwards , the rainstorm came , the rain fell down in the ground , when the rainstorm stopped , I went outside and walked to the ground , then i was looking up the sky that was clear and blue ,Suddenly, i found a rainbow stay in the sky how was beautiful sight ,the sun was shining and the rainbow in the back ,it looked like a bridge, but the rainbow had six colors that i could seen it ,it was very amazing .the rainbow could stay a few minutes in the sky , then a bit by bit disappear in the sky .

Culture Corner

After recently returning from a visit to China, Mimi and Edgar taught us how to properly conduct a tea ceremony with an authentic Chinese tea set.  We are now trying to nail down all the steps involved!

New Citizen Corner

On Monday, November 28,2011 Nhu Le traveled to Portland to successfully pass her citizenship test. She is from Vietnam and works as a nail tech in Bangor. Congratulations Nhu! Please send  us your citizenship questions and experiences.
